It’s Spring!

Hey, tween girls . . . It’s spring! When days get longer before it becomes night, when new buds start popping up, and flowers and trees that were dormant start coming back to life!

I love the four seasons . . . Don’t you? It’d sure be rough in the African desert or Antarctica with the same season all year . . .!!

Isaiah 43:19 says, “See, I am doing a new thing!” Like the start of a new season, God’s into new things, too!

So how about jumping into a new thing . . . something you’ve always wanted to do or trying something new! Or a dream that you once had you’d like to see come back to life! Maybe it’s going on a fun adventure hike, or conjuring up some new yummy treats, or starting a fun book club with your friends . . .

Did you know it’s God who puts those dreams in your heart? How about finding a cozy spot to go think about it, and He’ll help you discover it, and once you do . . .

It’s July 4th! The day that the colonists declared freedom from Great Britain . . . And a day of celebration and fireworks ever since!

Speaking of freedom, did you know that God wants you free? That is, free to be you?! Psalm 37:4 says, “Delight thyself in the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart.” Wow!!! I LOVE that verse! That God wants to give you those dreams in your heart, because He’s the one who put them there! I love that, don’t you??!! And that it makes you, YOU!!!

So what is your dream??? Do you love singing? Riding horses? Or dancing onstage? Or maybe you love cooking and conjuring up fun dishes and even dream of having your own restaurant someday . . . Whatever it is, just know it can happen, and you can trust Him to bring it about!!

In the meantime, Happy 4th to you, and keep dreaming, and be free to be YOU!

It’s Dad’s Day!

So Father’s Day is here! Another day of celebrating all those dads out there and especially your dad, too! What are your plans? Maybe a bike ride or picnic or off to a fun ballgame? Whatever you’re doing, it’s sure to be great! And how about thinking of all those things you love about him and telling him, too.

May it be a sweet day of loving on him with lots of laughter and fun! And if he’s no longer with you, may you remember those special memories. Happy Father’s Day to all of you!

Hey, tween girls . . . It’s Mother’s Day! Yay! That special day to celebrate her for ALL that she is . . . for always being there for you, and helping you, and just loving you!

So what are your plans??? A special dinner or bar-b-que on the deck or a fun trip to the zoo?

Whatever you’re doing, she’s sure to LOVE it, and I’m sure you will, too!

And if your mom’s already in heaven, may your treasure those sweet memories of her!

Having a rough day??? Jesus did, too. But a lot can happen in three days. Good Friday’s the day He was nailed to the cross, but look what happened three days after that! “He is risen!” Matthew 28:6.

So the next time your day’s not going great, turn it over to God and trust Him and watch what He’ll do . . .

In the meantime, Happy Easter! And maybe enjoy a few Easter candies, too!

Happy Easter to you!

So Easter is here! And what’s it about, anyway???

Well, most have heard God loves us, but did you know He longs to connect with us, too? But since the human race needs to deal with this thing called sin, we need to take care of that first . . . And how is that done???

Well, it’s first knowing what sin is, which is going our own way . . . And since that gets us in trouble at times, some think God’s mad at us, when He’s totally not!

Others think it’s about being good enough, when there’s no way we’ll ever be! But it’s receiving Christ in our hearts who died for our sins and rose from the dead . . . That’s how we take care of this ‘sin thing’ and how that connection starts. Just think, connecting with the Creator of the entire universe and having a relationship with Him!

So to answer that question . . . Easter’s when we celebrate Christ being risen from the dead and about God’s love for us, too! And once we receive Him, it’s knowing we’ll spend eternity in heaven with Him, too! So if you haven’t done that already, I invite you to do so, and what could be greater than that?!

So Happy Easter to you! And enjoy those sweet bunnies and fun-colored eggs, too!

It’s all about LOVE!!! A day of sweet happenings with those you love and maybe flowers, fun gifts, and yummy candy, too:)

And don’t forget, there’s nothing like God’s love for you, too . . . Just think, the Creator of the universe created you and me and loves us so much!

Ephesians 3:18 says His love is deep and immeasurable for you!

So remember that this Valentine’s Day, and have a sweet love-filled day!

Hi there, tween girls!

So a new year is HERE . . . Yay! It’s 2021! What a year it has been! And what’s yet to come???

What I do know is in spite of what’s happened we can always trust God . . . 

I love what He says in Jeremiah 29:11 . . . “For I know the plans I have for you . . . plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Wow . . . now isn’t that great?! That’s something to celebrate!

What are your hopes for 2021??? What dreams has He put in your heart? Just listen within . . . Those dreams are from Him!
